Vehicle Preview: The 2012 Nissan Murano
The innovation leader among premium crossovers.

Photo: The 2012 Nissan Murano
The Nissan Murano is the founder and perennial trendsetter among midsize crossovers. Renowned for its distinctive shape, the new 2012 Murano paces the segment in terms of its premium luxury appointments, superior performance, impressive fuel economy and adaptable functionality.
Since its introduction, the Murano has turned heads and captured hearts with its unique styling, which has been a source of inspiration for many midsize-crossover copycats. Beneath its supple, flowing curves and broad, hunkered stance, the 2012 Nissan Murano offers the comfort, ride and refinement of a premium midsize sedan coupled with the family-friendly utility and all-weather safety buyers expect from a dedicated crossover. This year, the Murano benefits from an expanded list of standard features, as well as an all-new option package.
Nissan sells the five-passenger Murano in S (MSRP to be announced), SV, SL and LE models, each in front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. There is also a convertible version called the Murano CrossCabriolet, but the focus here will be the fixed-roof models.
The seat of power in the Murano is its award-winning VQ-series 3.5-liter V6 engine, good for 260 hp and 240 lb/ft of torque. Credit for the V6's responsive performance goes to a host of advanced engine technology including direct injection, variable induction and Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control.
Smooth power delivery in every day driving is assured thanks to the standard Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission). Far more efficient than a conventional automatic transmission, the Xtronic CVT helps the Murano return an EPA-estimated 23 mpg on the highway.
All-wheel drive (AWD) Murano models feature the Nissan Intuitive All-Wheel Drive System. AWD works in concert with the standard Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS). Using a variety of sensors, Intuitive All-Wheel Drive distributes torque based on discrepancies between steering input and the actual direction the vehicle is headed. The result is ideal traction, regardless of road conditions.
Family safety is further served by the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System, front-seat Active Head Restraints and four-wheel antilock disc brakes (ABS) with Brake Assist (BA) and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). The combination of speed-sensitive power steering and a fully independent suspension inspires driver confidence when the road turns twisty and also ensures family comfort over rough stretches.
The Murano extends its status as a design leader to its interior, an eclectic environment Nissan calls the "Mobile Suite." High-quality materials, soft interior mood lighting and leading-edge infotainment technology merge to create a luxurious environment competing crossovers fail to match. And to prove that the Mobile Suite can also double as a workspace, lowering the 60/40-split rear seatbacks opens up 64 cubic feet of cargo volume.
The Murano S opens the bonanza of standard features with items such as a new seven-inch monochrome screen, aluminum interior trim, a leather-wrapped shiftknob, Nissan Intelligent Key with Pushbutton Ignition, 18-inch alloy wheels and a six-speaker AM/FM audio system with an in-dash six-CD changer and an auxiliary audio input jack.
The SV adds to the list with standards that include a RearView Monitor, a dual-panel power moonroof with power retractable sunshades, a Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, a Vehicle Information Center with seven-inch color screen, a USB Port for connecting an iPod, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls and an eight-way power driver's seat (four-way power for the front-passenger's seat).
Stepping up to the SL trim nets even more standards including a power liftgate, leather-appointed seats, heat for the steering wheel and front seats and a Digital Bose AM/FM/CD sound system with nine speakers and dual subwoofers.
The LE gathers all the features from the other trim levels and adds exclusives such as heated rear seats, wood-tone interior accents, High-Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-functional xenon projector headlights and a power-tilt/power-telescoping steering column.
The Navigation Package (available on SL and LE trims) includes a 9.3GB Music Box hard drive for storing and playing digital music, a Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System with voice recognition and seven-inch VGA touchscreen monitor, along with XM NavTraffic, XM NavWeather and Zagat Survey Restaurant Reviews.
New for 2012, the Platinum Package offers such highlights as 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels and a Sapphire Black exterior color. Topping the list of stand-alone options are dual seven-inch DVD monitors mounted in the back of the front-seat head restraints, along with USB 2.0 and audio/video inputs for video-game systems.
When you're ready for the design maverick that offers a cut-above blend of performance, safety and utility, call us to schedule a test drive of the new 2012 Nissan Murano, available this fall.

2012 Nissan Murano Combines Distinctive Styling, "Mobile Site" Interior and Advanced Technology Features

The Murano, Nissan's premium crafted crossover, continues in 2012 as one of the most distinctively styled vehicles in its class ? both inside and out. It combines a luxurious "mobile suite" interior with advanced technology and a refined, premium driving feel to create a modern crossover SUV like no other.

After receiving a number of significant enhancements in 2011, including a revised exterior design and the addition of the SV model, enhancements for 2012 include the addition of a new Platinum Edition with new 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, Nissan Navigation System and exclusive Sapphire Black exterior color. Murano S models add a 7-inch monochrome screen and one new exterior color, Pearl White, is also added.

The 2012 Nissan Murano is available in eight models: Murano S FWD, Murano S AWD, Murano SV FWD, Murano SV AWD, Murano SL FWD, Murano SL AWD, Murano LE FWD and Murano LE AWD. Murano is also offered in an innovative all-wheel drive convertible model, the 2012 Murano CrossCabriolet (for complete information go to NissanNews.com).

All 2012 Muranos feature a powerful yet fuel-efficient 260-horsepower VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6 and an advanced Xtronic CVT™ (Continuously Variable Transmission) ? a combination that provides a sporty and smooth driving experience. Murano is available in front-wheel drive or with an Intuitive All-Wheel Drive system, and all Muranos come with standard Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS).

Crafted, Dramatic Murano Styling
Murano's sculpted exterior features a wide front end with a dynamic front fascia design and wide grille. Murano is again available with quad-cylinder style High Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-functional Xenon projector headlights and standard fog lights on SV, SL and LE models.

The wide hood sweeps into the sculpted, dynamic bodylines, with pronounced wheel arches and standard 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels (S, SV, SL) or 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels (LE and Platinum Edition) providing an aggressive stance. Large chrome door handles and available roof rails (standard on SV, SL, LE) add both functionality and visual accents. Murano's equally distinctive rear end features a unique rear glass shape, integrated rear roof spoiler and large rear LED taillights that accents the body side character lines. Dual exhaust outlets with chrome finishers provide an appropriate final accent.

Other available exterior features include rain-sensing windshield wipers, a power liftgate and a large, dual panel power sliding glass moonroof with 2nd row skylight that provides an open-air experience for Murano passengers without compromising headroom. Eight exterior colors are offered, including new Sapphire Black (exclusive to Platinum Edition) and Pearl White, as well as previously available Merlot, Tinted Bronze, Brilliant Silver, Platinum Graphite, Super Black and Graphite Blue.

A Comfortable "Mobile Suite" Interior

Inside the stylish Murano body is an advanced "mobile suite" interior, embodying warmth and modern style. From the sweep of the instrument panel to the wide console and ambient lighting, Murano owners feel a sense of warmth and security from the first time they open the doors. Murano's front seats have been designed for enhanced support, offering a rich, supple feel and excellent riding comfort. The 60/40 fold-flat rear seat is available with a convenient power return feature (the seat returns to the upright position with the touch of a button), while heated seats are available for both front and rear passengers.

Also offered are double-stitched leather-appointed seating surfaces (standard on SL and LE models) for an inviting, luxurious feeling, available 8-way power driver's and 4-way power front passenger's seats and a driver's memory system (seats, steering wheel and mirrors). Two interior colors are offered: Beige and Black.

The 2012 Murano also offers a variety of convenient cargo storage areas throughout the interior, including standard dual-level center console, pockets for mobile phones, coins, maps and more, numerous cupholders, an extra large glove compartment, and dual seatback pockets, as well as a large rear cargo area.

Other standard interior features include an auto door lock feature, dual zone climate controls, Fine Vision gauges, and an AM/FM/CD6/six-speaker audio system with AUX-in jack and MP3/WMA capability.

Murano's long list of available advanced technology features include standard Nissan Intelligent Key™ with Push Button Start, standard Interface System for iPod®, a Bose® premium 11-speaker audio system with an in-dash CD changer, Radio Data System (RDS), and speed-sensitive volume control; and available XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System. The Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System includes a user-friendly graphic interface, menu structure and intelligent search capabilities, XM NavTraffic® Real-Time Traffic Information, XM NavWeather™ (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and Zagat® Restaurant Survey.

Also available is an iPod® connector that integrates into the Murano's standard audio system controls (SV, SL and LE), steering wheel controls for cruise control and audio system, and Voice Recognition for audio, Bluetooth® and navigation system.

Murano again offers a long list of standard safety features, with six standard air bags, including a Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) with dual stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant classification sensor, roof-mounted curtain supplemental side-impact air bags for front-and rear-seat occupant head protection, along with a standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and driver/passenger seat belt warning lamps. Also standard are front seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters, LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) child seat anchors and tether system, front seats with active head restraints and Zone Body Construction with front and rear crumple zones to help dissipate crash energy away from the passenger compartment.

Responsive Power and Control
All 2012 Muranos feature a 3.5-liter DOHC V6 with 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque, part of Nissan's award-winning VQ engine series. The engine incorporates a Twin Nissan Variable Induction Control System (NICS), microfinished camshaft and crankshaft surfaces, DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coated valve lifters, resin intake manifold, forged crankshaft, digital knock control system, high capacity muffler and lightweight aluminum block and cylinder heads.

Engine power is transferred to an advanced Xtronic CVT™ (Continuously Variable Transmission) with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) that provides a sporty driving experience and the smoothness that only a CVT offers.

Murano is available in front-wheel drive or with an advanced all-wheel drive system that automatically adjusts to road conditions. The intuitive all-wheel drive system connects the Murano VDC system's yaw sensors, wheel slip sensors and steering angle sensors with the AWD system. The system helps provide increased traction in a variety of driving conditions by distributing engine torque depending on the driver's steered direction and the actual direction of the vehicle. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with a Traction Control System (TCS) is again standard on all Murano models.

Nissan's advanced "D" platform provides a solid foundation for family adventure-style crossover duties. This platform, which is similar to that used in the 2011 Altima, has been optimized for Murano. Every Murano offers a standard four-wheel independent suspension with extensive use of lightweight aluminum for a reduction in sprung weight. The suspension design features cradle-type front subframe and multi-link rear design with improved geometry and large front and rear stabilizer bars, provides increased stiffness. The suspension, in combination with high performance dual flow path shock absorbers, helps provide sure footing and increased ride comfort on rough surfaces.

A twin-orifice speed-sensitive power steering system provides the proper levels of assistance in both around-town and high-speed driving. The system provides a direct steering feel, inspiring driver confidence. Braking is provided by large 4-wheel vented disc brakes (12.6-inch front, 12.1-inch rear) with 4-wheel, 4-channel, 4-sensor Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). Murano S, SV and SL models are equipped with 18x7.5-inch 6-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels with P235/65R18 tires, while 20x7.5-inch 5-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels with P235/55R20 tires come standard on Murano LE models. Exclusive 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels are offered with the new Platinum Edition.

Eight Well-Equipped Models

2011-12 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet  Overview

Bold Expression of Nissan's Commitment to Design and Innovation Combines Open-Air Driving Experience with the Practicality of a Stylish All-Wheel Drive Crossover

As the world's first all-wheel drive crossover convertible, the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet broke new ground in both the crossover SUV and convertible segments when it was introduced in spring 2011. With its never seen before design and custom boutique style, the Murano CrossCabriolet is unlike anything on the road  blending all of the things people love in a crossover with the open air enjoyment of a convertible. Its extraordinarily engineered fully automatic cloth convertible top folds to about the size of a 2-seat roadster top, providing ample room for four adults and plenty of cargo space with the top up or down. For the 2012 model year, the advanced Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System is now available as a standalone option and one new exterior color, Pearl White, has been added.

"The Murano CrossCabriolet represents not just a new car but also a new genre, breaking ground as the world's first all-wheel drive crossover convertible with the ability to make everyday activities more exciting," said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America, Inc. "And, with its extraordinarily engineered convertible top, standard all-wheel drive and room for four adults plus cargo, the CrossCabriolet is not just for cruising South Beach or Malibu. It's a vehicle to take to lunch, running errands or on a long ski weekend in any part of the country."

Murano CrossCabriolet Design Concept
The all-new Murano CrossCabriolet is designed to overcome the traditional functional limitations of a convertible ? limited trunk space, a cramped back seat or none at all, and a lack of flexibility for everyday life.

It overcomes these obstacles, combining elegant design and state-of-the-art engineering. One of the priorities in the convertible top design was the retention of the traditional Murano silhouette with the top up, and a luxurious, sophisticated appearance with the top down.

The transformation of the Murano body from Crossover to CrossCabriolet and from 4-door to 2-door meant more than just removing the top. Along with creating new front doors (7.9 inches longer than 4-door Murano front doors) and eliminating the B-pillars, the structure has been reinforced from the A-pillar rearward. The cloth convertible top also includes a rear glass skylight, helping create the feeling of a wide-open interior environment even with the top in the closed position. Dual Pop-up Roll Bars are also standard. The coefficient of drag remains close to that of the hardtop Murano, just 0.39 Cd versus 0.37 Cd.

One of the keys to the CrossCabriolet's design's success is the convertible top's exceptionally compact size when stowed, which allows both additional interior and cargo volume (normally taken up by a traditional convertible stowage design). The hydraulically operated top mechanism includes an automatic power latch/unlatch system. Operation switches are located on the center console and driver's door handle. With the top down, the stowed size is similar to that of a conventional 2-seat roadster. Trunk capacity with the top down is 7.6 cubic feet, enough to fit two sets of professional golf clubs or two carry-on suitcases. With the top closed, cargo capacity expands to 12.3 cubic feet.

Along with the unique convertible top appearance, the Murano CrossCabriolet exterior also includes High Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-functional xenon projector headlights with auto on/off function, front fog lights and Nissan 370Z-inspired LED taillights. Other features include body-colored front and rear bumpers, chrome door handles, body-colored dual power/heated outside mirrors, and rear window defroster with timer. Along with convertible style, the CrossCabriolet offers the high ground clearance of a Murano for easy ingress and egress.

Six exterior colors are available: unique Murano CrossCabriolet colors Sunset Bronze and Caribbean, plus Merlot, Platinum Graphite, Super Black and new Pearl White.

A Highly Rewarding Interior
The luxurious Murano CrossCabriolet interior starts with a foundation of the top-of-the-line Murano LE and takes it to the next level of standard features and convenience items. The tall windshield and A-pillar design combines with the body's high beltline and high rear seat shoulders to help reduce conventional interior air turbulence with the top down, allowing conversation between occupants.

Premium materials are used throughout the interior, with the standard diagonally quilted leather- appointed seats available in premium double-stitched leather for added elegance. The interior's curving, sculpted lines, half-matte chromed trim finish and unique wood-tone trim, tuned to match each of three available interior colors, add an additional rich, quality feel. Interior colors include Black, Cashmere (light brown) and Camel (brown).

The Murano CrossCabriolet comes fully equipped, with a long list of standard features including 8-way power heated driver's seat with power lumbar support, 4-way manual heated front passenger seat with easy entry function, heated steering wheel, 2-position driver's seat memory system for seat, steering wheel and outside mirrors, passenger seat easy entry release button on instrument panel for driver access, driver and front passenger seatback pocket, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and Nissan Intelligent Key™ with Push Button Ignition.

Every 2012 Murano CrossCabriolet is also available with standard Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, HomeLink® Universal Transceiver and RearView Monitor, and an optional Nissan Hard-Drive Navigation System with XM NavTraffic® with Real-Time Traffic Information, XM NavWeather™ (XM® subscription required, sold separately), Bluetooth® Streaming Audio, Voice Recognition and 7-inch VGA touch screen.

Open-air road tunes are provided by a Bose® AM/FM/CD audio system with 8 speakers including subwoofer, automatic audio adjustment for soft-top up/down position, integrated Interface System for iPod®, speed-sensitive volume control and auxiliary audio input jack. XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription requires, sold separately) is also standard.

Under the Skin: Pure Murano
The 2012 Murano CrossCabriolet's drivetrain is shared with the all-wheel drive hardtop Murano, starting with the proven "D" platform (also utilized on Maxima and Altima sedans) and standard 3.5-liter 24-valve DOHC V6 producing 265 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. The engine design includes the Nissan variable Induction Control System (NICS), twin knock sensors, low exhaust pressure, a 10.3:1 compression ratio, and 6,600 rpm redline. Estimated fuel economy is 17 mpg City/22 mpg Highway.

The engine is mated to a standard second-generation Xtronic CVT™ with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) for sporty response and smoothness, which utilizes an advanced, sport-tuned controller with adaptive logic for driving comfort or driving performance as conditions require. The advanced all-wheel drive system uses information from yaw sensors, wheel slip sensors and steering angle sensors to distribute torque according to driving conditions.

The Murano CrossCabriolet's lightweight 4-wheel independent suspension features MacPherson struts in front, a multi-link rear design, cradle-type front subframe and front and rear stabilizer bars. Also utilized are dual-flow path shock absorbers for responsiveness and reduced ride harshness.

Steering is provided by a twin-orifice vehicle-speed-sensitive power-assisted steering system, while the braking system includes 4-wheel vented disc brakes with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA) and Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD). Every CrossCabriolet comes with 20-inch split 5-spoke titanium finish aluminum-alloy wheels with P235/55R20 Toyo Proxes A20 all-season tires.

Standard Murano CrossCabriolet safety features include the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) with dual stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant classification sensor, front seat side-impact supplemental air bags, and door-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags with rollover sensor, along with front seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters, Zone Body Construction with front and rear crumple zones.

Other standard equipment includes front seat Active Head Restraints, Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS) and Dual Pop-up Roll Bars for rear passengers.

One Fully Equipped All-Wheel Drive Model
The 2012 Murano CrossCabriolet is offered in one fully equipped model. Along with the many items previously mentioned, standard features include power front windows with one-touch up/down and auto-reverse feature, Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control, and a 7-inch color display for audio, climate control, fuel economy, maintenance and comfort and convenience systems.

Also included are highly functional storage systems, including a two-tier center console storage box with fold-out function, cell phone holder, dual seatback pockets, Fine Vision gauges and driver instrumentation with white backlighting, illuminated steering wheel controls, auto door lock feature, four cupholders, power tilting and telescoping steering column, auto-dimming rearview mirror, cruise control with illuminated steering wheel mounted switches, front door map pockets, and Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system.

Two options are available with specific exterior colors ? a Camel interior with upgraded leather and the black top, and the Brown top/Cashmere interior combination (with upgraded leather). In addition, the Nissan Navigation System is now offered as a standalone option.

The second generation Nissan Murano, introduced just two years ago, enters the 2011 model year with an array of refinements and enhancements designed to keep Nissan's popular, flagship crossover SUV ahead of the growing number of ordinary entries in the segment. Along with its refreshed grille and bumper design, new taillights, a new 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design and a number of interior and content additions, Murano again combines its noteworthy "mobile suite" interior with advanced technology and a refined, premium driving feel to create a modern crossover SUV like no other.

Also for 2011, two new models have been added to the lineup: SV FWD and SV AWD. They join the Murano S FWD, Murano S AWD, Murano SL FWD, Murano SL AWD, Murano LE FWD and Murano LE AWD to provide buyers with a wide range of equipment and features to match any need or budget. Other changes include the addition of one new exterior color, Graphite Blue, and a new wood grain hue on LE models.

The Nissan Murano, since its original introduction seven years ago, has been a vehicle that has been often copied but never matched," said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America, Inc. "Murano continues to offer premium style, driving feel and technology at an affordable price, with more models and standard features to choose from than ever before."

As in 2010, all 2011 Muranos feature a powerful yet fuel-efficient 260-horsepower VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6 and an advanced Xtronic CVT? (Continuously Variable Transmission) - a combination that provides a sporty and smooth driving experience. Murano is available in front-wheel drive or with an Intuitive All-Wheel Drive system, and all 2011 Muranos come standard with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with a Traction Control System (TCS).

Crafted, Dramatic Styling - Refreshed for 2011

Murano's sculpted exterior features a wide front end with a dynamic front fascia design, a wide grille with new, refreshed style for 2011. Murano is again available with quad-cylinder style High Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-functional Xenon projector headlights and standard fog lights on SV, SL and LE models. The wide hood sweeps into the sculpted, dynamic bodylines, with pronounced wheel arches and standard redesigned 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels (S, SV, SL) or 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels (LE) providing an aggressive stance. Large chrome door handles and available roof rails (standard on SV, SL, LE) add both functionality and visual accents.

Murano's equally distinctive rear end features a unique rear glass shape, integrated rear roof spoiler and large rear LED taillights (with new revised design) that accents the body side character lines.

Seven exterior colors are offered: Merlot, Tinted Bronze, Brilliant Silver, Platinum Graphite, Super Black, Glacier Pearl and new-for-2011 Graphite Blue.

For 2011, Murano features new center stack colors and a new wood grain hue on Murano LE models.

The 2011 Murano also offers a variety of convenient cargo storage areas throughout the interior, including standard dual-level center console; pockets for mobile phones, coins, maps and more; numerous cupholders; an extra large glove compartment; and dual seatback pockets; as well as a large rear cargo area. Other standard interior features include an auto door lock feature, dual zone climate controls; Fine Vision gauges; and an AM/FM/CD6/six-speaker audio system with AUX-in jack, VTR jack and MP3/WMA capability.

A variety of advanced technology features are available, including standard Nissan Intelligent Key? with Push Button Start; standard Interface System for iPod®, a Bose® premium 11-speaker audio system (up from an 8-speaker system) with an in-dash CD changer, Radio Data System (RDS), and speed-sensitive volume control; XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately); and Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System. The Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System includes a user-friendly graphic interface, menu structure and intelligent search capabilities, a 9.3GB Music Box hard drive, XM NavTraffic® Real-Time Traffic Information, XM NavWeather? (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and Zagat® Restaurant Survey.

Also available is an iPod® connector that integrates into the Murano's standard audio system controls (SV, SL and LE); steering wheel controls for cruise control and audio system; and Voice Recognition for audio, HVAC, Bluetooth® and navigation system.

All 2011 Muranos feature a 3.5-liter DOHC V6 with 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque, part of Nissan's award-winning VQ engine series. The engine incorporates a Twin Nissan Variable Induction Control System (NICS), microfinished camshaft and crankshaft surfaces, DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coated valve lifters, resin intake manifold, forged crankshaft, digital knock control system, high capacity muffler and lightweight aluminum block and cylinder heads.

Engine power is transferred to an advanced Xtronic CVT? (Continuously Variable Transmission) with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) that provides a sporty driving experience and the smoothness that only a CVT offers.
